Monster Call-Buying Spotted in Nvidia (NVDA)

by | Mar 24, 2022 | Options

In Thursday’s Blitz Daily with Lance Ippolito, we take another look at top chipmaker Nvidia as its share price gains momentum.

Thursday saw shares of Nvidia and other chip-makers pick up steam after the big reveals at its investor conference.

At Tuesday’s event, the semiconductor stock’s top brass revealed its latest cloud computing chip along with a growing software segment.

All told, management estimates its total addressable market at $1 trillion — that’s right, with a “t.”

After two days of selling, the bulls are coming around to the company’s growing prospects as shares jumped as high as 9% from Wednesday’s closing price!

With the stock trading for around $280 a share, bullish options buyers snagged about 2,300 contracts of the March 25, $285 strike calls for more than $415,000 in premium!

Of course, that wasn’t the only chip name making a move Thursday… I have four more top trades waiting inside…

    • Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE: JWN): April 14 $27 CALL.
    • Wynn Resorts Ltd. (Nasdaq: WYNN): April 14 $82 CALL.
    • Nvidia Corp. (Nasdaq: NVDA): March 25 $285 CALL.
    • Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (Nasdaq: AMD): March 25 $120 CALL.
    • Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC): Oct. 21 $55 CALL.

These are just a handful of the orders we saw hitting the tape Thursday.

If you want to know exactly what it’s like in the trenches trading these massive orders alongside me and other members as they hit the tape, check out this special Thursday session of my War Room

P.S. A phenomenon has been sweeping across the market…

And it must be seen to be believed!

Those who know this new trading trick have been able to lock in lightning-fast returns like 27.78% on T, 42.86% on X, 19.09% on CROX and even 111.76% on SBUX — all with just a few hours of market exposure*…

Blitz Daily With Lance Ippolitto

At Weekly Blitz Alerts, we like to print money, baby! I know, I know, you’re probably thinking, “Lance, how do we do that? Print money? Come on…”

But in all seriousness, we follow the big fish and what they’re buying. And we do that with my proprietary Blitz Tracker, which alerts me to big, institutional options order flow throughout the day. Then we get in on these plays and follow the “smart money.”

By doing this, we cash in whether the broader market is going up, down or sideways.

The Blitz Daily with Lance Ippolito is where I go over a handful of options trades that hit my Blitz Tracker each day, Monday through Thursday. I will break down the trade with the sexiest order flow and tell you exactly what I think can happen with that stock by the next day’s opening bell.

If you want in on these fast-moving options plays, with entry, exit and profit targets sent directly to you via text and email alerts, be sure to sign up for Weekly Blitz Alerts!

In the meantime, you can follow me @LanceIppolito on Twitter, Instagram and our YouTube channel for more trading insights and tips. And as always, you can find me right here talking stocks and options trading — and printing money — on WealthPress.com!

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.

Everything Everywhere, Going Down, All At Once

When our momentum reading went negative last week, I didn’t know that we’d have the second largest bank failure in U.S. history three days later. All I knew was that it went negative… and that we got out of the way.
