In Monday’s Blitz Daily, we’ll take a look at drug developer Novartis after it was on the receiving end of several positive news stories.
Monday saw the bulls take a run at drugmaker Novartis AG (NYSE: NVS), buying long-dated options in size! The company recently announced the launch of phase three trials of its spinal muscular atrophy drug, Zolgensma, in early August.
The Swiss-based firm also reported promising developments with its Kymriah line of cancer therapeutics.
That helped bring buyers back for a second dip into the options chain this month. In particular, one of the big dogs snapped up 6,657 contracts of the Jan. 21, 2022, $100 strike call.
