In Thursday’s Blitz Daily, we’ll take a look at social media company Snap Inc. as the company announced new feature upgrades to its platform.
After completely crushing earnings a few weeks ago, the viral video sharing app, Snap Inc. rolled out the latest update to Snapchat’s nearly 530 million active users on Thursday. Packed into the update is a revamped version of Snapchat’s altered reality (AR) scan feature that will allow users to identify everything from clothing brands to dog breeds.
The new functionality is poised to grab loads of eyeballs, and the boys on Wall Street are buying time in the options chain to take advantage of this pullback. Thursday saw nearly 30,000 contracts traded between the SNAP Nov. 19 $75 strike and $80 strike calls.
