Your New Money Crew Year-in-Review and 3 Trades to Ring in the New Year

by | Dec 31, 2021 | Crypto

And now, the end is near… This year will face its final curtain.

Don’t risk it all, keep sizing small — Because in the markets, nothing’s certain.

We made big gains, and popped champagne… We closed our wins out at a high rate.

But best of all, when we bought calls, we did it my way!

It’s hard to believe 2021 is almost over… and at the same time it feels like it’s taken forever.

But believe it or not, it’s New Year’s Eve… and even better, it’s Friday!

That makes it a perfect opportunity to take stock of the week and the year and take a look at what’s around the corner in 2022 with our New Money Crew Weekend Watchlist…

Our New Money Crew Year in Review

Closing out the final week of 2021, we got off to a fabulous start by scoring another hat trick on all three of our Wiretap Alerts trades on Block Inc. (NYSE: SQ), Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT) and Macy’s Inc. (NYSE: M).

Macy’s caught fire this week with shares gaining 8.7% from their Dec. 23 closing price to their peak!

And that monster move shot our Macy’s Dec. 31 $35 strike call options to the moon, running as high as 195% from our entry by Wednesday. If you took this trade, drop me an email and let me know how you did!

Now, of course, it wouldn’t be 2021 without Lance selling early — regrets, I’ve had a few…

But any regrets I had fell by the wayside when my Weekly Blitz Alerts strategy scored another overnight win on Under Armour (NYSE: UAA). This has been the company that keeps on giving!

Blitz took 10 trades on Under Armour in 2021 — including two on the Class C (UA) shares — going 9-of-10 at the plate with gains as high as 130%.

UAA is easily my pick for stock of the year, though my trade of the year undoubtedly goes to Snap Inc. (NYSE: SNAP) and the 925% overnight monster earnings trade we made back in late July.

This week has been a great way to close out the year, but it won’t be complete without a look at what to watch for as we head into 2022 with the last New Money Crew Weekend Watchlist of 2021!

The New Money Crew Weekend Watchlist for Dec. 31

I have a fresh new set of tickers on my radar that I’ll be keeping a keen eye on come Monday…

First up, we have Peloton Interactive Inc. (Nasdaq: PTON). What would a new year be without resolutions?

January offers the hottest run-up for gyms and fitness companies as millions of people aim to spend more time working on their personal health… At least for a few weeks.

For that reason, we could be looking at a nice short-term bounce in the stock, and a quick scroll through the Blitz Tracker shows that I’m not the only trader expecting it. One trader recently picked up about 500 contracts of the Jan. 21, 2022 $40 strike calls!

And that’s not the only flow hitting the tracker on Friday. Take a listen to my quick rundown — you’ll have to forgive the lack of video while I’m traveling — for my top plays leading into the first week of the new year as we keep on doing it our way in 2022!

P.S. WealthPress Senior Strategist Roger Scott just covered his top 3 predictions, his top sector, his No. 1 stock and his No. 1 stock to avoid for the new year during his “Turning Point 2022” event!

You can’t afford to miss this!

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.

Everything Everywhere, Going Down, All At Once

When our momentum reading went negative last week, I didn’t know that we’d have the second largest bank failure in U.S. history three days later. All I knew was that it went negative… and that we got out of the way.
