Oh my days, I didn’t expect Christmas to come again so soon for my top video game stock of 2022 after Microsoft buys Activision!
There’s nothing like coming back from a long weekend to find your trades up BIG when the stock market is in the red!
First, I want to send a big “Thank you!” to all of you who decided to join me for last week’s Wiretap Alerts events…
And I hope you’re enjoying those payouts as we scored our third hat trick in four weeks, pulling in wins on Corsair Gaming (Nasdaq: CRSR), Paypal Inc. (Nasdaq: PYPL) and Las Vegas Sands Corp (NYSE: LVS)!
Las Vegas Sands continues to ride the momentum from Friday’s upgrade into Tuesday’s trading with shares up 1.5%. That surge helped slingshot the Jan. 21 $42 strike calls to a 68.5% win for Wiretap members and your free New Money Crew Weekend Watchlist!
That’s a great way to start the week, but that’s not even the best news…
Tuesday saw the big announcement that Microsoft buys Activision, and one of the top video game stocks in my 2022 market outlook ripped more than 30% higher… even as the Nasdaq continues to sell off!
Microsoft Buys Activision: My Top Video Game Stock for 2022 Delivers Massive Windfall!
The video game world is getting smaller by the day… This past week, we saw one of the top video game stocks on our 2022 market outlook, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (Nasdaq: TTWO), agree to buy out Zynga Inc. (Nasdaq: ZNGA) for $12.7 billion in a cash-and-stock deal.
Just a week later, the gang at Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) made a surprise announcement that it is buying Activision-Blizzard Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) — my top video game stock for 2022 — for $69 billion in cash!
Activision couldn’t stay out of the headlines in the back half of 2021 as a series of sexual harassment accusations dropped shares to 52-week lows. It was an easy case to make that the company was trading at a massive discount… and Microsoft agreed.
Shares of Activision gapped up over 30% at the open, sending the options chains straight to the moon!

P.S. How does risking just $1 dollar for the opportunity to make $7 sound?
What about $1,000 to potentially make $7,000?
This is what we call the “profit factor” — the risk-to-reward ratio for an investment.
And for every $1 risked, this strategy has seen $7 in return.
A profit factor over 2.0 is good, while anything above 3.0 is considered outstanding.
And WealthPress Senior Strategist Roger Scott has perfected a trading strategy that’s scored a profit factor of 7.05 over the past 12 years of trading!
