2 Top Chinese Casino Stocks to Watch
On Aug. 20, the Blitz Tracker spotted whales dropping sizable bets in top Chinese casino stocks Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) and Melco Resorts & Entertainment (Nasdaq: MLCO).
Now if we were just looking at the chart on LVS, that would have been an easy pass. Just look at this piggy…
The stock broke below its 200-day moving average in early June, trading all the way down to a new 52-week low on Aug. 19.
And then the institutional buyers moved in the next day, sweeping over 1,300 LVS Aug. 27 expiration $38 strike calls. The alert went out to Blitz members that Friday with contracts trading at $0.65…
Jump ahead to Monday as news of loosening travel restrictions hit the headlines, and shares closed more than 8.5% higher, followed by another 3% move after hours — BANG!
Those moves have helped carry those options as high as $4.23 Monday — a potential 550% return in less than two trading days! A perfect demonstration of the profit prospects of a Shadow Blitz.
In the name of being fully transparent, old Lance is human and closed a little too early on Monday for an 83% gain… But I’ll take those meat and potatoes returns any day of the week — especially for less than a day of time in the market!
