Crisis Offers Key Trading Opportunities — if You Know Where to Look

by | Mar 4, 2022 | Market Updates

The markets are down again as the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, with the Dow down more than 300 points — and more in Friday’s stock market recap.

Following Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s statement that he favored a more modest approach to raising interest rates, he warned Thursday that the conflict in Ukraine is likely to worsen inflation in economies all over the world.

We can already see the effects in higher prices for oil and other commodities. Not to mention, the conflict is likely to further disrupt supply chains still recovering from the pandemic.

Volatility continues to climb, indicating increased fear in the market.

It’s a difficult market to trade, but there are some opportunities out there, if you know where to look.

In this morning’s stock market recap video, you’ll discover the two major indicators that are gauging current market action… key levels on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq… the top non-energy stocks leading the market… a review of the top trades from this week…. plus a preview of what to expect from the market next week.

Don’t forget to like and subscribe to our YouTube channel if you haven’t already so you can be notified as soon as we post our next video and see what other trade opportunities we’re paying close attention to!

P.S. Traders Left to Fend for Themselves

Funds and institutions use algorithmic trading to give themselves an almost unfair advantage over the rest of the market… leaving other traders to fend for themselves.

That’s why I created this brand-new e-book where I breakdown how Wall Street has found a way to win no matter what direction the market goes.

I’m going live at 1 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 8, to break down how my strategy works, and how any trader can use it to battle the algos in the market right now.

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.

Everything Everywhere, Going Down, All At Once

When our momentum reading went negative last week, I didn’t know that we’d have the second largest bank failure in U.S. history three days later. All I knew was that it went negative… and that we got out of the way.
