The Top Stocks I’d Buy and Sell in the Current Market

by | Nov 18, 2022 | Market Updates

The major indexes drifted higher as the market continued digesting earnings reports and the prospect of higher interest rates following this week’s Federal Reserve comments — and more in Friday’s stock market recap.

St. Louis Fed President James Bullard said Thursday that interest rates might need to go as high as 7% to control inflation.

The market was also awaiting comments from Boston Fed President Susan Collins, who spoke early Friday.

When the market is in upheaval like this, I love using our Alpha Rotation strategy. My favorite thing about this strategy is not only do we buy the strongest sectors, but we also sell the weakest. That means this strategy has a built-in hedge to protect during market downturns.

I believe everyone could benefit from this information right now, so I just held a special class to share exactly how it works. Watch the Session Here.

In this morning’s stock market recap video, I’ll discuss whether the bulls or bears are controlling this market… which stocks are most vulnerable to downside pressure… what I see happening in the market over the next few sessions… whether bonds are putting pressure on stocks once again… if Fed data is helping or hurting stocks… and which types of stocks you want to own, and which ones you want to sell right now!

P.S. The Fed Did It Again

When the Federal Reserve raises rates, the markets flip out… And certain sectors get out of balance.

November was no different… But members of our Alpha Rotation strategy didn’t sweat it.

Because our powerful ETF-rotation strategy helps them capitalize on only the STRONGEST sectors — while we also short the WEAKEST.

You have to see this in action!

P.P.S. When it comes to trading, every second counts. And in choppy markets like these, often driven by headlines, stocks can make big moves in a flash.

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.

Everything Everywhere, Going Down, All At Once

When our momentum reading went negative last week, I didn’t know that we’d have the second largest bank failure in U.S. history three days later. All I knew was that it went negative… and that we got out of the way.
