Stock Market Recap, Oct. 25, 2022

The major indexes are down as investors await earnings reports from the biggest tech companies on Wall Street.

Investors hope these reports will provide some clues into the health of the U.S. economy.

Tech titans Alphabet Inc. Class C (Nasdaq: GOOG) and Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) report Tuesday, and we’ll get the most recent consumer confidence report.

Meanwhile, Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN), which doesn’t report until Thursday, slipped lower in premarket trading on reports of a hiring freeze.

In this morning’s stock market recap video, I’ll discuss the biggest earnings surprises this week… whether bonds will trade lower or finally rally… which four sectors I believe will continue trading higher… which stocks I feel confident about right now… key levels on the Dow and whether we will reach them… the biggest threats and opportunities from upcoming Federal Reserve data… plus a preview of the consumer confidence and gross domestic product reports.

Don’t forget to like, subscribe and leave your comments and questions on our YouTube videos — we will respond!

P.S. Introducing the Quantum Indicator

What I’m about to share with you is arguably the most impactful discovery in the history of WealthPress…

On Oct. 8, 2022, an entirely new way to enter and exit trades came to life.

It’s a system that I believe can help trader’s develop an edge in their trading.

I call it my “Quantum Indicator.”

I’m so excited about this new indicator, I’m holding a special live training event at 1 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, Oct. 26, where I’ll show how to install and even use the Quantum Indicator.

And the best part is, it doesn’t cost a thing to attend!

P.P.S. When it comes to trading, every second counts. And in choppy markets like these, often driven by headlines, stocks can make big moves in a flash.

That’s why I want you to get my latest trading ideas and market updates as fast as possible. So I’m rolling out an all-new option for my students to receive trade alerts with Telegram!

Telegram allows me to get trade ideas, videos and watchlists to you in a matter of seconds.

Check out this short article we put together with instructions on how to download telegram and access my private channel. Go here to get the details.

On Tuesdays, I’ll detail the strongest and weakest sectors in the entire market. I’ll tell you exactly where I’d put my money and go long, and which ones I’d avoid or even short. Using my proprietary momentum indicator, you’ll get actionable ideas on every market sector, every single Tuesday.

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.

Everything Everywhere, Going Down, All At Once

When our momentum reading went negative last week, I didn’t know that we’d have the second largest bank failure in U.S. history three days later. All I knew was that it went negative… and that we got out of the way.
