9 Bullish Options Bets in Under 3 Minutes

by | Jul 18, 2022 | Options

In Monday’s Blitz Daily with Lance Ippolito, we take another look at copper miner Freeport-McMoRan as shares get a boost from a bear market rally!

Markets saw a phenomenal gap up to open trading for the week, and all morning long I was yelling “Sell!”

Both my Wiretap Alerts and Weekly Blitz Alerts strategies were busy taking profits in multiple positions — days like this are the reason we follow that juicy institutional order flow!

Copper names also surged Monday with increasing economic support in China and a weakening dollar forcing short sellers to cover their positions.

As a result, shares of our good friend Freeport-McMoRan spiked as high as 8.9% and sent the bulls charging into the options.

An hour into the open, my scanners spotted big money buyers scoop up around 2,900 contracts of the July 22 expiration, for around $105,000 in premium!

And of course it’s earnings season, which means those institutional buys are hitting the tape early and often!

Don’t miss the boatload of fresh options trades, including one of my favorite travel stocks…

    • Alphabet Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG): Aug. 19, $120 CALL.
    • Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE: FCX): July 22, $29 CALL.
    • Delta Air Lines Inc. (NYSE: DAL): Aug. 19, $35 CALL.
    • Carnival Corp. (NYSE: CCL): July 22, $10 CALL.
    • Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA):  July 22, $155 CALL.
    • Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS):  Aug. 19, $36 CALL.
    • The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS): July 22, $97 CALL.
    • PayPal Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: PYPL): July 22, $76 CALL.
    • Halliburton Co. (NYSE: HAL): July 22, $29 CALL.

Check out the short video, see me slam some calls and I’ll break down the day’s most unusual options order flow in no time flat!

And if you decide to sign up to receive my alerts, you’ll get access to a live trading and training session at 3 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, July 19! Don’t wait, here’s what you need to know.

Blitz Daily With Lance Ippolitto

At Weekly Blitz Alerts, we follow the big fish and what they’re buying. And we do that with my proprietary Blitz Tracker, which alerts me to big, institutional options order flow throughout the day. Then we get in on these plays and follow the “smart money.”

By doing this, we cash in whether the broader market is going up, down or sideways.

The Blitz Daily with Lance Ippolito is where I go over a handful of options trades that hit my Blitz Tracker each day, Monday through Thursday. I will break down the trade with the sexiest order flow and tell you exactly what I think can happen with that stock by the next day’s opening bell.

If you want in on these fast-moving options plays, with entry, exit and profit targets sent directly to you via text and email alerts, be sure to sign up for Weekly Blitz Alerts!

In the meantime, you can follow me @LanceIppolito on Twitter, Instagram and our YouTube channel for more trading insights and tips. And as always, you can find me right here talking stocks and options trading — and printing money — on WealthPress.com!

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.

Everything Everywhere, Going Down, All At Once

When our momentum reading went negative last week, I didn’t know that we’d have the second largest bank failure in U.S. history three days later. All I knew was that it went negative… and that we got out of the way.

I want to talk about our version of “Trust but Verify” in the markets. Qualification is the most important part of the investing process. And this F score value strategy looks to be crushing the current market.
