If You Have 2 Minutes, I Have 7 Red-Hot Options Trades

by | May 23, 2022 | Options

In Monday’s Blitz Daily with Lance Ippolito, we take another look at computing cornerstone Apple after a spike in options activity.

Stocks came hot out of the gate to start Monday as the tech-heavy Nasdaq jumped as much as 1.7% from Friday’s closing price.

Shares of Apple led the charge up the charts after the Wall Street Journal reported the top tech firm has contacted its manufacturers outside of China about increasing production.

On its most recent earnings call, Apple CEO Tim Cook warned April’s COVID-19 lockdowns in the Shanghai region could impact second quarter revenue by as much $8 billion.

The news helped spike Apple stock as much as 4% during Monday’s session with bullish buyers pouring into the options chain.

We spotted one trader sweeping up about 1,800 contracts of the June 17 expiration, $152.50 calls for around $270,000 in options premium!

And if you’re looking for more supercharged options action, I have six more trades waiting inside…

Of course, that’s not the only stock hitting the tape Monday. Check out these top trades…

    • Synchrony Financial (NYSE: SYF): July 15, $31 PUT.
    • Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL): June 17, $152.50 CALL.
    • Suncor Energy Inc. (NYSE: SU): July 15, $41 CALL.
    • Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. (Nasdaq: GT): June 24, $12.5 CALL.
    • Salesforce Inc. (Nasdaq: CRM): May 27, $157.50 CALL.
    • Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (Nasdaq: AMD): July 15, $110 CALL.
    • Nutanix Inc. (Nasdaq: NTNX): July 15, $25 CALL.

Check out my short video and I’ll break down the day’s most unusual options order flow in no time flat!

P.S. My team and I have been working on a brand-new trading indicator for the better part of this year…

We’ve code-named this initiative Project X.

But before we roll it out as a full-blown trading strategy, we need to make sure the system is as rock solid as we believe it to be…

So far, our system has signaled winning positions in TSLA, AMD, COIN, UPST and PYPL.*

Now I want to take our testing to the next level — and I need your help!

I’m looking for around 100 traders interested in beta testing this new indicator over the next couple of months.

Of course, I don’t expect traders to jump in sight unseen, so I’ve put together a small demonstration on how it works…

Blitz Daily With Lance Ippolitto

At Weekly Blitz Alerts, we like to print money, baby! I know, I know, you’re probably thinking, “Lance, how do we do that? Print money? Come on…”

But in all seriousness, we follow the big fish and what they’re buying. And we do that with my proprietary Blitz Tracker, which alerts me to big, institutional options order flow throughout the day. Then we get in on these plays and follow the “smart money.”

By doing this, we cash in whether the broader market is going up, down or sideways.

The Blitz Daily with Lance Ippolito is where I go over a handful of options trades that hit my Blitz Tracker each day, Monday through Thursday. I will break down the trade with the sexiest order flow and tell you exactly what I think can happen with that stock by the next day’s opening bell.

If you want in on these fast-moving options plays, with entry, exit and profit targets sent directly to you via text and email alerts, be sure to sign up for Weekly Blitz Alerts!

In the meantime, you can follow me @LanceIppolito on Twitter, Instagram and our YouTube channel for more trading insights and tips. And as always, you can find me right here talking stocks and options trading — and printing money — on WealthPress.com!

* Past performance is not indicative of any future results. Trade at your own risk. From Feb. 25, 2022, through May 4, 2022, five winning positions were issued while four remain open. The average rate of return was 38.33% over a seven-day hold time.

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.

Everything Everywhere, Going Down, All At Once

When our momentum reading went negative last week, I didn’t know that we’d have the second largest bank failure in U.S. history three days later. All I knew was that it went negative… and that we got out of the way.
