2 Top Sectors and a Deep Dive Into Current Market Action

by | Nov 21, 2022 | Market Updates

The major indexes are mixed as the market prepares for a shortened trading week — and more in Monday’s stock market recap.

Thanksgiving is one of the biggest travel holidays of the year. A lot of traders will take off this week, and even if they are at their desks, their minds might be elsewhere thinking about the upcoming holiday.

We also have a fragmented trading week, with the market closed on Thursday and only open for a half-day on Friday.

When we have weeks like this, expect low volume, heightened volatility and a lot of uncertainty.

In this morning’s stock market recap video, I’ll discuss the biggest threats and opportunities during the holiday-shortened week… why I’m focused on two particular sectors right now… which sectors to avoid no matter what… which sector is starting to track the bond market… the most probable scenario for the Federal Reserve in the coming weeks… and whether the market is overbought or oversold in the short term!

P.S. What WWII, the Great Recession and the COVID-19 Crash Had In Common

Trading has been harder than ever for most traders this year…

But what if you were able to take advantage of ONE market trend that’s been proven, time and time again?

One that’s never failed to unfold, even during the Great Depression, World War II, 1987’s Black Monday and the dot-com crash, to name a few…

We’re talking about one trend a very unlikely trader stumbled upon 560 days ago… And once she shared this trend with me, I was SHOCKED!

I just couldn’t believe I’d never seen this in the near-three decades of my trading…

So I insisted she reveal it to all my readers LIVE at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

And the best part is, it doesn’t cost a thing to attend!

Uncover the Details Here

P.P.S. When it comes to trading, every second counts. And in choppy markets like these, often driven by headlines, stocks can make big moves in a flash.

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.

Everything Everywhere, Going Down, All At Once

When our momentum reading went negative last week, I didn’t know that we’d have the second largest bank failure in U.S. history three days later. All I knew was that it went negative… and that we got out of the way.
