The Nasdaq Must Break This Level; This Week’s Key Price Price Points

by | Feb 7, 2022 | Stock Market Sectors

U.S. stock futures are up slightly following the S&P 500’s best week of the year, as well as the Nasdaq’s rally thanks to Amazon’s strong earnings report — and more in Monday’s stock market recap.

It’s a light week for Federal Reserve data. The most important reports we’re following are the Consumer Price Index on Thursday and consumer sentiment on Friday.

It is, however, going to be a big week for earnings…

A little over half of the companies in the S&P 500 have reported so far, and about 80 more are due to report this week including Lowe’s Companies Inc. (NYSE: LOW), Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) and The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS)

On Monday, we also have analyst calls from industry leaders Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) and Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT)

Meanwhile, shares of connected fitness equipment-maker Peloton Interactive Inc. (Nasdaq: PTON) are soaring on reports that Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) and Nike Inc. (NYSE: NKE) may be potential buyers.

In this morning’s stock market recap video, you’ll learn the key price levels for major indices this week… major resistance levels for Consumer Discretionary and Technology… the biggest news of the week that could impact market action… a global update on Japan and Ukraine… a deep look into sector analysis… plus the top and bottom stocks right now.

P.S. I’m About to Unveil My Second Biggest ‘Buy Alert’ EVER

The extreme volatility we’ve seen recently will become the new normal… for the next several years... Making it a massive opportunity for targeting pullback trades.

99 Problems and a “Pivot” is One

A friend of mine sent me this chart about three months ago. I should probably print it and keep it in my wallet next to a photo of my daughter. Given the sheer number of questions I’ve fielded lately, I’ll probably end up showing this chart more than her picture.
